    Melissa (Missy) earned her Master of Arts in Christian Counseling from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, and is currently pursuing licensure as an LMHC in Indiana. She first joined the counseling team as an Administrative Assistant, and began in a counseling role in November of 2014. She works with individuals and couples dealing with relational issues, women’s issues, including post-abortive recovery, grief, anxiety, depression, and other mental health concerns, and is passionate about health in ministry. Missy and her husband, Bill, have been in ministry for 25 years, and have three children. Her desire is to help others find freedom, hope, and emotional and spiritual health.

    As a graduate of Southern Illinois University Edwardsville with a Master’s Degree in Counseling, Donna brings over 25 years of experience to the counseling team at Crossroads. She focuses primarily on family and marriage issues, as well as abuse and co-dependency issues. Combining the practical knowledge of her training and the wisdom of God’s word, Donna is committed to helping others reach emotional and spiritual healing and wholeness.

    Paul holds a BA in Psychology from DePauw University and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Eastern University. He serves as a part-time counselor with the counseling team, specializing in men’s issues and marriage counseling. Paul serves as the Executive Pastor at Crossroads Christian Church. He and his wife, Emily, have been married 20 years, and have 3 children. With 20 years of pastoral and missionary experience, Paul has a heart to see people walk in the freedom that Christ provides.

    As a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University, Marcia earned her Master’s Degree in Counseling in 1989, and has been a member of the Crossroads counseling team for over 15 years. Marcia specializes in marital counseling, mood disorders, codependency and abuse issues, women’s issues, addiction, and has a compassionate heart for adolescents. She is also a Certified Splankna Practitioner; a Christian-based prayer protocol for resolving emotional trauma. Marcia sees her counseling role as an instrument for God to bring healing to the spirit, soul, and body.

    Aaron joins the counseling team as a Financial Coach, volunteering his time to provide financial advice and guidance to individuals and couples who are ready to break the chains of financial bondage. He is currently employed at Vectren, as Manager of Investor Relations, and is an active member at Crossroads, co-leading the Human Trafficking Task Force Team with his wife, Courtney.

    Aaron resides in Newburgh, Indiana, with his wife, and their daughter, Maggie.

    Aaron has a passion to use his God-given skills to partner with people in our community who are seeking to improve their financial situation. His motivation comes from his faith in Jesus Christ and Jesus's command to "Love your neighbor as yourself."

    Angelena (Angie) is a graduate of Liberty University with a Masters Degree in Professional Counseling and is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the State of Indiana. Angie has experience working with children, adults, and families who are dealing with a variety of mental health concerns such as depression, anxiety, mood instability, adoption and attachment issues, ADHD, social skill issues, and defiance. She is also experienced in using play and sand tray therapy techniques in her counseling practice. Angie’s desire is to be used by God through the counseling process to bring ultimate healing.

    Regina joins the counseling team as a Financial Coach, volunteering her time to share her passion for personal finance and debt free living. She has worked in public accounting and tax for over 15 years, working for small and mid-sized accounting firms, specializing in accounting, tax and non-profits.

    Having recently transferred to the Evansville area, Regina and her husband, Jason, seek to honor God with their family finances in all things.

    Regina’s passion is to help people stabilize their finances and aim for a debt-free life.

    Administrative Assistant/Receptionist

    Laurie joins the counseling team as the Administrative Assistant and Receptionist after having spent over 18 years in the Music and Worship Department here at Crossroads. Laurie has a degree in Music Education from Milligan College.

    Meeting people where they are, and allowing the Holy Spirit to use her is Laurie’s desire both now and in her future endeavors.

    Lisa joined the counseling team as part-time Administrative Assistant and Receptionist in 2015. Lisa has a degree in Health & Human Services from Lincoln Christian College and Illinois State University/Springfield.

    Lisa loves people where they are and desires that her life reflects the expression of who God is in her to those God brings across her path.
