There is an undeniable connection between the mind, and your moods and attitudes. How can we retrain ourselves to respond in a healthy manner when faced with challenges in life?

Given the recent pandemic with Covid-19, our society has experienced many changes over a short period of time. With change often comes confusion and with much change, emotional shutdown can occur.

This Group will help you to focus on the important things in your life, while not dwelling on the things you cannot change. We will explore scriptural insights and other practical ways to navigate your way through these unprecedented times we are living in.

Participants may wish to purchase their own copies of the books Living Beyond Your Feelings and Never Give Up, both by Joyce Meyer.

ABOUT OUR FACILITATOR:

Alice moved to Evansville, IN three years ago, with Joe her husband of 30+ years. They followed their only daughter, Niki and son-in-law, Ross, they have one granddaughter Desiree Rose.

Alice suffered through a severe trauma childhood, which included physical and sexual abuse. For that reason, she developed PTSD, and other mental health disorders. God made beauty from ashes. Over the past 20 years, Alice devoted herself to learning how to disentangle from the trauma that haunted her. Through therapy, her walk with Christ, and being open about her journey, she has been able to help others with theirs. She is also a Blogger, Mental Health Advocate, and is currently working on a book about her journey.

Because this class is online, registration is required for anyone who wishes to participate. We look forward to having you join us for this new session!
