Hope Place is a community center and after school program that shares the love of Jesus in practical ways with displaced families from around the world. They are a lifeline for relationships and practical needs to folks who’ve been forced out of their homes into a new culture. It’s estimated that within a 5-mile radius around Hope Place that over 100 languages are spoken! Their afterschool program includes facets of language learning, homework help, trauma processing and personal mentoring.

As we will be going during their school year, we will have the opportunity to help lead their after-school program, serve meals, see their community, and get to invest in the team at Hope Place.

We have a limited number of spots for this trip. Due to this, students in Grade 8 will have a chance to sign up first, from Tuesday, January 31 until February 7. After February 8, grades 6-8 will be able to register, registration deadline is Sunday, March 5.  Cost includes transportation, lodging, and meals with the exception of ONE meal out at a restaurant in the community, you will need to bring $10-15 to cover this meal.
