Support Foster Families at Crossroads
|
A Care Community is a group of people who join together to support a foster family. This might mean making meals for the foster family, helping them keep their house clean, assisting with their lawn or simply praying for them consistently. The Care Community becomes like extended family for families who are actively fostering.

- FOSTER FAMILY MEET & GREET
Please join our Foster Care Team 10:15 - 11:00 AM on Sunday, May 21, in Room 225 for a Foster Family Meet & Greet. We want to meet you and fellowship with you over donuts and coffee. We know that foster care comes with unique challenges and joys. That's why we want to link arms with you during this process by empowering our foster families and helping them engage in community. No RSVP is necessary.
+ | Trust Based Relational Intervention Training

When risk factors such as biological, emotional or physiological trauma interrupt a child's development, caregivers need additional skills and understanding. In partnership with CFC and Borrowed Hearts, this workshop provides participants with proven tools to develop closer connections built on evidence-based techniques.
