Student Ministry

Over 90% of the population in Mali is Muslim with less than 1% considered evangelical. Young people face challenges getting an education, finding jobs, and helping their families. They live with political instability and corruption, insurgent attacks, and limited resources.

Young Life Mali works to introduce young people to Jesus by hosting after school clubs, small group Bible studies and youth camps. Despite persecution, YL Mali averaged over 6,000 kids in high school clubs in 2023.

Current Priority:  Expanding Young Life clubs and youth camps to the more difficult to reach regions in Mali. They are also focused on forming a team at Crossroads to walk alongside YL Mali staff by hosting quarterly prayer and update video calls.
