Are you finding meaning and purpose in your life with Jesus?

“I wish that I could answer this question with an unwavering, “Yes!” But the truth is, there are days I doubt, times I listen to the lies in my mind, or face fear when I look at the unknown days ahead. I can be quick to try and control situations, thinking that by doing so, eventually I can find my true “purpose” in life. But here’s what I’m learning, friends.

In the beginning was the Word, and for me, that Word is the beginning, the middle and the end. He’s in the mundane, the excitement and the disappointments. Jesus is in all of it, every aspect of my life, speaking truth and declaring promises. His words are full of life and hope. As I learn more about who God is through scripture, I’m filled with a desire to live more like him, and even more than that, to share what I’ve come to know and the joy I’ve experienced through Him, with others.
