NEW SERVICE TIMES
Beginning Sunday, September 13, we'll be making a small adjustment to our Sunday morning schedule that we believe will make a big difference in the life of our church.
9:00 AM & 10:45 AM
While it's only a 15-minute change to the start time of our second worship gathering, it's a change with purpose.
We continue to pursue God’s mission of making disciples, and we are guided by our vision of helping others live and love like Jesus. Changing the times we gather for worship on Sundays is an intentional decision to encourage a culture of invitation, serving, and community.
Here's what we're excited about:
- Two equally appealing service times. Currently, our second worship gathering extends into lunchtime and children’s nap times. Moving it fifteen minutes earlier creates two Sunday morning options that are more convenient and appealing for guests and families with young children.
- Making it easier to worship and serve. We want everyone who calls Crossroads home to have the opportunity to gather for worship and use their gifts to serve others. By bringing our service times closer together, we're removing barriers and making it easier to do both on the same Sunday morning.
- More community on Sunday mornings. With less time between services, we're looking forward to seeing more conversations, connections, and friendships happen between people who attend different services.
As we prepare for this new season, we'd love our church family to join us in creating a welcoming experience for everyone who walks through our doors. There are three ways you can help:
- Park in our north parking lot. This will help relieve congestion in the south parking lot between services and free prime parking spaces for our guests. We will be re-opening our north Gym entrance to make arriving and leaving even easier!
- Join a Sunday morning serving team. Whatever your gifts and availability, there's a place for you to make a difference. Click HERE to see a list of Sunday morning serving opportunities. And if you’re hesitant about your kids being here for two services, we’re excited to announce the launch of unique second-service programming for kids in preschool through 5th grade starting September 13.
- Invite someone to join you. Consider inviting a friend to the 10:45 AM worship gathering and then sharing lunch together afterward. Sometimes a simple invitation can change someone's life.
We're excited about where God is leading us in this next season at Crossroads. Thank you for helping us create a church where people feel welcomed, loved, and encouraged to live and love like Jesus!
