Beautify a partner's campus [1 spot left!]

No skills or tools are needed! The recommended age to serve is 13+

  • What: Potter's Wheel is looking for 10 people to landscape and clean around its building.
  • When: 9:00 AM-12:00 PM
  • Where: Southside of Evansville
  • Why: We want the Potter's Wheel campus to look as welcoming on the outside as it feels on the inside.

Throw a party for foster kids [spots available!]

Perfect for students! The recommended age to serve is 13+

  • What: Borrowed Hearts is looking for 15-20 people to oversee the kid's activities while the parents relax and build community. 
  • When: 11:00 AM-4:00 PM (broken into shifts)
  • Where: Crossroads 
  • Why: Families with kids from hard places often feel isolated. We want to help them have fun and get to know each other.

Restore someone's future home [spots available!]

No skills or tools are needed! The recommended age to serve is 18+

  • What: Community One is looking for 10 people to continue the work it's doing to renovate and transform dilapidated housing.
  • When: 8:00 AM-12:00 PM
  • Where: Southside of Evansville
  • Why: To change an abandoned home into affordable housing in an under-resourced neighborhood. 
  • Team leader: Stuart Mullen

Love our first responders [FULL!]

Designed for families with young kids to do together. 

  • What: Crossroads Kids are looking for 30 people to bake cookies and write thank-you notes to law enforcement officers, paramedics, EMTs, and firefighters.
  • When: 9:00-11:00 AM 
  • Where: Crossroads
  • Why: To provide opportunities for families to begin loving like Jesus when their children are young.
  • Team leader: Sara Cline

Give a good night's sleep [FULL]

No skills or tools are needed! The recommended age to serve is 13+

  • What: Sleep in Heavenly Peace is looking for 30 people to build and deliver beds to children in need. 
  • When: 8:00 AM-12:00 PM
  • Where: Eastside of Evansville
  • Why: Because there are families in our community where our children don't have beds. 
  • Team leader: Dave Elsner
