We are Obedient and Joyful

We are grateful for who God is and all He has done!

Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. 2 Corinthians 9:7

God has provided us with wise principles to manage all He has entrusted to us. Giving what is first and best is an act of worship and trust.  

Tithing (giving the first 10% of our income) is a way to worship God and express our gratitude for all He has given to us.  It releases the control we have on the things God has entrusted to us and their control on us.  

We honor and obey Him by continuing to reflect His love and generosity towards others.  God knows the condition of our hearts and our motivation.  We choose to be generous because we are grateful for who God is and all He has done, and we want to participate in what He is doing in the world around us.
